Add care to the hosting foundation.
For WordPress owners who want a defined helping hand with the software behind their site.
Know what’s being looked after.
A care arrangement names the software, maintenance work and checks involved. We first review the theme, plugins and custom functionality, including any licence requirements.
Include care in my briefA proposed care routine
- Maintain the agreed WordPress components.
- Check important pages and user journeys after changes.
- Keep recovery provisions in view.
- Flag work that sits outside the original scope.
Care doesn’t mean every kind of work.
Are redesigns included?
No. New layouts, branding and content creation are separate work unless expressly included in your agreement.
What about custom plugins?
We review custom and unsupported software before accepting the care scope. Specialist development may need a separate brief.
Will you provide paid plugin licences?
Licence responsibility and any additional fees are stated in the proposal. No paid licence is assumed to be included.
What happens if an update causes a problem?
We agree checks and recovery arrangements before material work. The appropriate response depends on the site and the scope of the service.
